The Peace of Jesus

Kingdom News Daily presents Devotionals from ministries worldwide.

Today's Devotional is by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association

"These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."  John 16:33

The Peace of Jesus

The peace that Jesus came to bring was not the peace of appeasement, or the peace of compromise and conformity. It was a spiritual peace. The world doesn't give peace, for it doesn't have any peace to give. It fights for peace, it negotiates for peace, it maneuvers for peace, but there is no ultimate peace in the world. But Jesus gives peace to those who put their trust in Him. If you have received His peace, then you are in His camp. But if you have rejected it, then you are against Him. His peace is available to everyone who will receive it.

PRAYER FOR THE DAY

Deep down I feel Your peace, Lord Jesus, and the storms of my life are abated.

Spirit of Fear

Kingdom News Daily presents Devotionals from ministries worldwide.

Today's Devotion is by Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke via Facebook

Spirit of Fear

Whilst Nehemiah was restoring Jerusalem, he was urged to hide from his enemies. I like his reply: “Should such a man as I flee?…I will not…!” (Neh 6:11) Are the blood-bought people of God to surrender to bluster and threats? We are not given “a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind” (2 Tim 1:7). Should such a people as we are, flee? Never! Hold your ground in the name of Jesus and God bless you today. -Reinhard Bonnke

Don’t Sweat It, Rest!

Kingdom News Daily presents Devotionals from ministries worldwide.

Today's Devotion by Pastor Joseph Prince

{Then she said, “Sit still, my daughter, until you know how the matter will turn out; for the man will not rest until he has concluded the matter this day.” Ruth 3:18}

God does not want you to “sweat”. Sweat here does not refer to your body’s perspiration, but your self-reliance or self-effort. God does not want you to believe that if you don’t do anything, nothing will happen. That may be true for someone without God in his life, but it is not true for you because you have God. And when He is in the picture, the God-factor changes everything!

When you are resting in God, He works for you. In fact, when He works, you end up with more. He is the one who is giving to you. It is not about you trying to give to yourself.

This was what happened to Ruth in the Old Testament. After laboring in the barley fields from morning to evening, she was able to glean one ephah of barley (Ruth 2:17), which was equivalent to a 10-day supply of barley. Certainly, this amount was a blessing to her.

But when she rested at the feet of Boaz, her kinsman-redeemer, and did not labor, she received six ephahs of barley (Ruth 3:15), which was equivalent to a 60-day supply! When Ruth sought her own blessing, she obtained only one ephah. But when she sought the blesser, she received much more.

Ruth’s blessings did not stop there. While Ruth rested and sat still as her mother-in-law Naomi had instructed, Boaz, who was the owner of the barley field, went to work, initiating actions, executing them and speaking on Ruth’s behalf. Right through it all, Ruth sat still and rested. Eventually, Boaz, the barley man himself, married Ruth. (Ruth 4) That meant no more measured wealth of six ephahs, but the yield of the whole barley field in total!

Boaz is a picture of Jesus, our heavenly kinsman-redeemer. When we rest in the Lord, He will not rest. He will work on our behalf. What do we do then? We just trust in and enjoy His love for us.

Beloved, stop striving and be at rest. If salvation, the greatest work, comes to us by resting in Jesus’ finished work, how much more will all the other blessings?

Thought For The Day
If salvation, the greatest work, comes into our lives just by us resting in Jesus’ finished work, how much more will all the other blessings?

╬Néxplosion-Retiro Jóvenes Iglesia Vida Abundante Junio 21-23

Mensaje Pastor Carlos Cintrón Iglesia Vida Abundante

LEAMOS Y EVALUEMONOS!

Daily Devotion: Forgiveness

Daily Devotion: Forgiveness, presented by Kingdom News Daily

On the third Sunday in June, America observes its traditional Father's Day, on which we honor our earthly fathers.  This social activity is all well and good, according to the Biblical Commandment.  Nevertheless, Our Heavenly Father's Day is celebrated on the Sabbaths for some and Sundays for others and forgotten by most people, the rest of the week.  The main reason for practicing daily devotion appears throughout the Bible, it's called God's Grace.

Christians should be grateful that the ways of God are not those of the world.  Psalms 103: 2-3,5 states,

2. "Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—

3. who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases...
5. who satisfies your desires with good things
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

Perhaps, it's the former disc jockey in me, but this psalm reminds me of the song The Heart of the Matter.   In it, Eagles' front man, Don Henley sings the line, "Forgiveness, even if, you don't love me anymore."  This human sentiment is fine in the sense that we are commanded to forgive all, but it also flies contrary to God's agape love.  The Lord's love is unconditional and eternal. We receive His divine love before we even know or love God.  And so, Our Father's forgiveness is offered through his unwavering love, which will accompany us throughout this life and the next.  Therefore, in season or out, I will follow the tradition of Yeshua and daily desire Yahweh, a very Happy Father's Day.-RSJ

Gateway to Life

Presented by Kingdom News Daily

In John 14:6, Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."  In the first sentence in the Gospel of John, the beloved disciple reveals that our Lord is the Word.  This context explains that Christ's statement refers to His word, which is the Bible.  God's truth in the Bible is what we must obey in order to receive the gift of Eternal Life.  And yet, to many Christians this remains a secret.  Why?  Well, because they don't read the Bible much, outside of Sunday service.  If this describes your routine, I recommend you try making KNN your Homepage and read the Bible Gateway "Verse of the Day," when you first open your computer browser.  Let's take a look at today's verse:

In God, whose word I praise— in God I trust and am not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me? Psalm 56:4 NIV

I mean, not much need be said after that, right?  Nothing I've ever read has been more inspiring and motivational than a Bible verse.  Starting your day with a verse, such as this and setting it in your mind might be the most important thing you do all day.  Meditating on God's word is equivalent to silent prayer.  The next step is speaking it in faith.  Go back now and instead of just reading Psalm 56:4, speak it into the atmosphere.  Let it precede you, let it be your gateway to a victorious day.

Silence of the Sheep

"In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.”-Martin Luther King Jr.

Although Dr. King was talking about Civil Rights, his words hearken back to the trial of Jesus, where his followers remained silent as the crowd petitioned Pilate to release Barabbas and crucify Christ. (Matthew 27:15-22) The Lord's followers motivation was fear.  Even to this day, a similar fear restrains many church going Christians from sharing their faith with family, friends, neighbors and strangers.  And yet, the very same people have no fear of introducing their friends to other people.  Let's look at it this way, if you are a true believer Christ is your best friend and you should feel proud to introduce him to every unbeliever you know.  If you find that too difficult, read and remember the words of Jesus himself in Matthew 10:32-33-Amp, "Therefore, everyone who acknowledges Me before men and confesses Me [out of a state of oneness with Me], I will also acknowledge him before My Father Who is in heaven and confess [that I am abiding in] him. But whoever denies and disowns Me before men, I also will deny and disown him before My Father Who is in heaven."  It's never too late or too soon to change your way of dealing with this issue.  Israel Houghton sings it like this...

Gran-mega, gigantesca tormenta.

TORMENTA=Tribulación – Turbulencia – Una gran violencia.

Tened ánimo; “Yo Soy – no temas”

Launch Out Into The Deep

5/26 Daily Devotional by Pastor Joseph Prince-Singapore (Photo below)

"When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.”-Luke 5:4

God wants to bless you — big-time! It was for this reason that He said to Simon, “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.” The deep is where you will find a whole lot of fish. You won’t find them near the shore in shallow waters. But to launch out into the deep is to move away from the comfort of the shoreline.

My friend, God wants you to break away from your comfort zone and step out in faith to do what He has put in your heart. It may be something simple, but which you have never done before or only dreamt of, like attending a care group. A church member did just that and found love. Today, she is happily married.

Now, our Lord Jesus who said, “Launch out into the deep…” also said, “… let down your nets for a catch.” Notice that He used the plural “nets” and not the singular “net”. Beloved, God wants to give you more than what you need. His dream for you is bigger than anything you can ever dream of. Dream big and God will exceed your dream because He delights in giving you exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think. (Ephesians 3:20)

Another church member who was formerly working for someone else had wanted to start his own company. When praying with him, I received a word from the Lord for him to launch out on his own. When he did that, he made a handsome profit at the end of the first month alone! Today, he has more than one company and his businesses are flourishing. God is blessing him beyond his wildest dreams!

Beloved, God wants to bless you beyond your wildest dreams. He did it for Simon who was astonished at the size of the catch of fish. (Luke 5:9) But it was not until Simon launched out into the deep that he ended up with the net-breaking, boat-sinking load of fish. (Luke 5:6–7) You, too, will be astonished at your catch when you step out of your comfort zone and launch out into the deep with the Lord!

Thought For The Day
Break away from your comfort zone and step out in faith to do what God has put in your heart.

I've been a pioneer proponent of internet business since 1990. As an employee and entrepreneur, I've produced solutions for government, media, churches and non-profit orgs. In Millennium II, web-driven commerce has grown into a brick and mortar eating monster. Then, it gave birth to Mobile, an offspring, which has created major waves rocking traditional information distribution, including credit & debit card transactions. Apostle, Bishop, Pastor and Minister, there is no reason for your ministry to be left out. Please watch the following informal dissertation by a mobile banking insider, who reveals the future of digital business transactions. As always, I shall be available to provide an executive briefing on the services envisioned especially for you by our Kingdom Digital Coin model.

KNN Bible Study: Psalm 82:6 (Ye are Gods?)

KNN Bible Study: I know, I know, Bible Class is boring. I found out in school that there are no boring subjects, only boring teachers. So, let's open our bibles to Psalm 82:6. What does God say about us there? The real question is do you believe it? The word used to describe us as gods, 'keelohim' begins with the letter Kaf. Kaf has a value of 11 or 20, both pointing to the duplication of a king's authority. Why would God give us such authority? The answer is in verses 3 and 4, which is to, “Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.” We know that the New Age interpretation that each one of us is a God is totally bogus because of Deuteronomy 6:4. But, let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater. The fact that we can be 'Echad' or One with God through Jesus enables us to do great things in His will. Difficult times require radical faith. God has provided everything we need to manifest such faith. When in God's Holy Spirit, we submit our spirit and renew our mind; our soul prospers in all good things. After this, we can begin to believe Jesus, who quotes Psalm 82:6, "Is it not written in your Law, 'I have said you are "gods"'?-John 10:34
